Thursday, February 23rd - 7 PM
Theatrical History on The Eastern Shore
Presented by Professor Joel Eis
Professor Eis is the author of the book "A full Investigation of the Historic Performance of the First Play in English in the New World." As it turns out that play "Ye Barre and Ye Cubbe" was performed in a tavern in Pungoteague, Virginia on August 27, 1665. Professor Eis will be sharing his enthusiasm for the original version of that play while he is in town for a staged reading of his version "The Play in August," at Salisbury University on Sunday, February 26th at 2 p.m.

All events will be held at the Mallard Landing Pub
1107 S. Schumaker Drive, Salisbury, MD
